Itinerary

01

Day 01: Trivandrum – Kovalam (20 Minutes)

After arrival at Trivandrum, our representatives will transfer you to Kovalam. Freshen up yourself at the Kovalam Beach Resort. Visit the Kovalam Beach, Lighthouse Beach, Palm-backed beaches including Hawa Beach and Samudra Beach. Vizhinjam Juma Masjid is another place of attraction.

Day 02: Kovalam Sightseeing & Leisure

Enjoy a full day exploring the coastal beauty of Kovalam. Start your morning with a relaxing Ayurvedic massage at one of the renowned wellness centers. Post lunch, visit the Vizhinjam Marine Aquarium to witness the underwater marine life. In the evening, witness a spectacular sunset at the Lighthouse Beach and enjoy fresh seafood at the beachside shacks. You can also indulge in water sports activities like surfing or catamaran rides available along the coast. Overnight stay at Kovalam.

Day 03: Kovalam – Houseboat (175 Kms, 4 Hours)

Morning leave for Alleppey to enjoy a boat cruise tour in Alleppey Houseboat. Rest of the day at leisure on the House Boat which is world's major tourist attraction. Sit back and relax while the boat cruises through the narrow serene backwater canals of Alleppey. We can see here in breathing green, the village slumbers by the Vembanad Lake. On cruise scenery flashes up vivid contrasts of lush green and deep blues. As the boat glider along the gorgeous green of the fringed palms the ripples in the blue water blend in to little wavelets. Lunch, Evening Tea/ Coffee with snacks, dinner all are provided inside the houseboat. Overnight stay will provide on House Boat.

Note: • The cruise commences at 1230 hrs with lunch served on board and continues till dusk. At dusk the boat will anchor in a wide waterway or lake for the night (The backwaters close to boat traffic at dusk as the fisherman lay their nets in the backwaters. Other boats are not allowed to ply in the backwaters after dusk. On the following day the cruise commences again after breakfast and the guest will be dropped at Alleppey by 0900Hrs. Overnight stay at hotel.

All Houseboat check in at 12Noon and cruises till 5PM, Boat will be anchored till 8AM and cruises till 9AM for checkout

Day 04: Alleppey – Thekkady (120 Kms, 3.5 Hours)

Post breakfast you would be proceed to Thekkady. View of various Tea Plantation will please your eyes throughout the way. By afternoon you will check-into the Hotel. Set your cameras ready for watching Kathakali and Kalaripayattu shows. It will charge @ Rs.250/- per show/per person.

If you have special interests try for Bamboo Rafting and Trekking in forest with lunch. It's a full day program. You will be accompanied by Armed Attendant @ Rs. 1500/- per person. Trekking could also be done in morning and evening hours. Periyar Wild Life Sanctuary is another option to visit for Boating. It costs Rs. 200/-per person. Keep in mind the boating hours are 7 AM, 10 AM, 12 PM, 2 PM and 4 PM. If you are a nature lover a Plantation Tour and Elephant Safari in the morning 6AM or evening 6PM will be a treat for you. Entry fee is Rs.100/- and Rs.600/- per person respectively. For Wild Life Lovers a Jeep Safari to Gavi Wildlife Sanctuary would be a pleasurable one. Rs.1500/- per person they charge as entry fee.

Day 05: Thekkady – Munnar (120 Kms, 3.5 Hours)

Pack your bags for Munnar after breakfast. You would be welcomed by Lockhart Gap View having attractive view of Western Ghats. You can spend about half an hour here for clicking photographs. Check into the hotel. Have your lunch and move ahead for sightseeing. With the area around 16 acres, Blossom International Park offers numerous activities comprising boating, roller skating, cycling etc. On your way back halt at Pothamedu Sunset Point which is situated about 6 kms from Munnar on NH 49.

Day 06: Munnar

Post breakfast we began day's sightseeing. Visiting Echo Point and Kundala are our top priorities. Kundala is about 20 kms from Munnar. If you are lucky enough; you will get to have look of cherry blossoms which appears only two times in a year. Also enjoy the Safari in a Jeep to Kudagumali View Point which costs Rs.1500/- per person and Elephant Safari. Kerala Martial Art and Kathakali dance are must see.

Spend half day in tour to various places of Munnar including Rajamalai and Eravikulam National Park. You will have to bear entry fees of Rs.50/- per person. The park is opened throughout the weekend from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM and remains closed from 1st March to 30th April every year. Moving ahead you visit the famous Tea Museum which has an entry fee of Rs.75/- per person. Museum is opened from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM and remains closed on Mondays. 13 kms before reaching Munnar you have another halt at Mattupetty Dam. You can enjoy the natural environs of this attractive dam.

Day 07: Munnar – Kochi (140 KM, 5 Hours)

After breakfast drive to Cochin airport & Drop at Kochi Airport.
